⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Enemies to lovers are my fave! Hategasms are hot 🔥 This new college sports series features a football and hockey coach in their late 30s & early 40s (🙌 for the millennial rep). Fab intro to the world of the Rainbow Dorset University.
Lemon is a BRAT, 💯 Regina George energy - he does grow on you though. He is outwardly always on the offense, aggressive, and antagonistic when interacting with others, except his "kids". After looking inward and reconciling some of his insecurities and perceived failures, it becomes more apparent that he has a full heart and cares deeply.
Hansley is, generally, pretty well-rounded and a teddy bear. What you see is what you get, although, in no way, does that mean he doesn't have layers and lacks depth. He is very thoughtful, a protector, and incredibly loving. His commitment to and affection for Lemon never wavered, even through the latent discovery of his bisexuality and public divorce.
While both MCs are flawed in their own ways, they are fantastic together and complement each other well. Low angst with a bit of drama and not a slow burn 🔥 Crea is truly a master writing hard to like characters that, eventually, endear you to them. Thoroughly enjoyed this and can't wait for the next release in the series! -Amazon Reviewer
